Former GWR 2-6-0 7307 and unidentified 0-6-0PT on a goods train.
Page 125, May/June 2016 Journal - Negative No. 27892 (NB negative number now corrected)
. The photograph by W A Camwell is thought to have been taken on the singe line between Fishguard & Goodwick and Manororwen on the South Wales main line from the junction at Clarbeston Road to Fishguard Harbour. Whilst unclear in the reproduced photograph the locomotive, GWR Class 43xx 2-6-0 is clearly identifiable as 7307. An unidentified 0-6-0PT is behind 7307 which was withdrawn in May 1954. 0-6-0PTs were used to bank trains on this steeply graded section of line of some two miles of 1 in 50/60 thus the presence of the 0-6-0PT behind the train locomotive is curious.
